Defender L663 Sports Steering Wheel - Flat Bottom

A flat bottom sports steering wheel for the Land Rover Defender L663. Hunters Prestige designed it to be slightly thicker than the OE wheel, with motorsport-inspired thumb grips. Forge Automotive supplies it in Alcantara, Nappa or Perforated Nappa and fits it at our Darwen and Leeds sites.

Good to know

• Hunters Prestige make the wheel with or without cut-out holes for paddle shifters.
• A Defender V8 that already has paddles needs the wheel with paddle cut-outs. A Defender without existing paddles needs the wheel without them.
• Retrofitted paddles need activation on the vehicle.

Common questions

Does it work with a heated steering wheel?
Yes. Hunters Prestige list a built-in heated function and state the wheel is compatible with the heated steering wheel option.

Does it work with paddle shifters?
Yes. Hunters Prestige state it is compatible with V8-style paddle shifters and make the wheel with or without paddle cut-outs. A V8 with existing paddles needs the version with cut-outs.

What warranty does it come with?
Hunters Prestige cover their parts with a standard 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, from the date of purchase.

Can I fit this steering wheel myself, or do you fit it?
Either. Hunters Prestige publish a how-to-fit video, embedded on this page, if you want to do it yourself. If not, we fit this steering wheel at both of our sites: Darwen in the North West (Eccleshill Business Park, BB3 0GY) and Gildersome, Leeds (Overland Park, LS27 7FE).

Fitting is available on every part at our North West (Darwen) and Yorkshire (Leeds) workshops. Prefer to fit it yourself? Fitting instructions ship with every part.
