Defender L663 Hunters Gloss Black Slimline Roof Light Pod Kit

The Hunters Prestige slimline roof light pod kit for the Land Rover Defender L663 is a newer gloss black design, which Hunters Prestige describe as more refined than their previous model with the same illumination. It bonds to the roof with no drilling and is switched by wireless remote. Forge Automotive supplies the kit and fits it at our Darwen and Leeds sites.

Fitting

The base frame is bonded to the roof with a high-bond automotive adhesive and the wiring runs down the A-pillar into the engine bay. The lights are controlled by a wireless remote switch.

Common questions

Does the roof need drilling?
No. The base frame is bonded to the roof with a high-bond automotive adhesive, and there is no need to modify the dashboard or fascia.

How does it differ from the earlier Hunters Prestige light pod?
Hunters Prestige describe it as a more refined design with the same illumination as their previous model.

What warranty does it come with?
Hunters Prestige cover their parts with a standard 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, from the date of purchase. Hunters Prestige also state that lighting accessories do not affect or void the manufacturer warranty, provided they are installed correctly and do not interfere with original vehicle systems.
