Change your ADRO AT-R1 swan neck wing into a full RS specification with ADRO's pre-preg carbon fibre flat end plates. These end plates replace the standard curved end plates, delivering a wider, more bold visual profile at the rear and completing the full competition appearance of the AT-R1 wing assembly. Forge Automotive supplies these end plates and can fit them at our Darwen and Leeds sites.

Note: This product includes the flat end plates only. It does not include the main wing plate, aluminium brackets or trunk bracket. These end plates are only compatible with the ADRO AT-R1 swan neck wing - not with any other wing system.

The AT-R1 swan neck wing is available separately for the BMW F8X M3/M4, BMW F87 M2 and Toyota GR86/Subaru BRZ.

Common questions

What is pre-preg carbon fibre?
Pre-preg is carbon cloth that arrives from the mill already impregnated with a measured amount of resin. The part is laid up in the mould and cured under heat and pressure, usually in an autoclave or oven. Because the resin content is controlled, the finished part is lighter, stiffer and more consistent than a hand-laid one, with a cleaner weave and better dimensional accuracy. It costs more to make, which is why pre-preg parts sit at the top of a range.

What does "dry carbon" mean?
Dry carbon is the everyday name for a pre-preg part: carbon fibre all the way through, rather than a carbon skin over a fibreglass or plastic base. The surface still has a clear lacquer, but there is no excess resin in the laminate, so the part is light and rigid.

What is a 2x2 twill weave?
The weave pattern in the carbon cloth. In a 2x2 twill each strand passes over two and under two, which gives the diagonal pattern BMW use on their own M Performance and M carbon parts. Choosing 2x2 means aftermarket and factory carbon on the same car match.

How do I look after a carbon fibre part?
Treat the lacquer like paint: wash with pH-neutral shampoo, avoid harsh solvents, and wax or seal it. UV is what ages carbon, so a protected finish lasts longer. Forge Automotive can apply paint protection film to any carbon part before fitting, which guards against stone chips and keeps the weave clear.

Does this include the full AT-R1 wing assembly?
No. This product includes only the flat end plates. The main wing plate, aluminium brackets and trunk bracket are not included and must be purchased separately as part of the AT-R1 swan neck wing kit.

Which cars is the AT-R1 swan neck wing available for?
The ADRO AT-R1 swan neck wing is available for the BMW F8X M3/M4, BMW F87 M2 and Toyota GR86/Subaru BRZ. These flat end plates are compatible with all three AT-R1 variants.

What is the difference between flat and standard end plates?
Standard end plates have a curved profile; the flat end plates give the wing a wider, more bold RS-specification appearance with greater visual presence and a more competition-oriented aesthetic.
