The ADRO Carbon Fibre Side Skirt Kit for the G80 M3 is the finishing touch that lifts an entire build. Designed to improve the factory lines of the G80 M3 while seamlessly complementing other ADRO carbon components available for this platform, the V2 skirts combine striking aesthetics with functional aerodynamic design. Available from Forge Automotive supply only, or fitted at our sites in Darwen and Leeds.

Crafted from pre-preg carbon fibre, the kit provides a subtle increase in downforce along the sill line and reduces aerodynamic lift at speed - contributing to improved stability and a more planted feel. The matched weave pattern left-to-right and the consistent high-gloss finish mean the skirts read as factory-level quality when viewed on the car.

Supplied as a matched pair, the skirts integrate cleanly with the G80/G81 sill geometry for a direct fitment result.

Common questions

What is pre-preg carbon fibre?
Pre-preg is carbon cloth that arrives from the mill already impregnated with a measured amount of resin. The part is laid up in the mould and cured under heat and pressure, usually in an autoclave or oven. Because the resin content is controlled, the finished part is lighter, stiffer and more consistent than a hand-laid one, with a cleaner weave and better dimensional accuracy. It costs more to make, which is why pre-preg parts sit at the top of a range.

What does "dry carbon" mean?
Dry carbon is the everyday name for a pre-preg part: carbon fibre all the way through, rather than a carbon skin over a fibreglass or plastic base. The surface still has a clear lacquer, but there is no excess resin in the laminate, so the part is light and rigid.

What is a 2x2 twill weave?
The weave pattern in the carbon cloth. In a 2x2 twill each strand passes over two and under two, which gives the diagonal pattern BMW use on their own M Performance and M carbon parts. Choosing 2x2 means aftermarket and factory carbon on the same car match.

How do I look after a carbon fibre part?
Treat the lacquer like paint: wash with pH-neutral shampoo, avoid harsh solvents, and wax or seal it. UV is what ages carbon, so a protected finish lasts longer. Forge Automotive can apply paint protection film to any carbon part before fitting, which guards against stone chips and keeps the weave clear.

Are these compatible with the G80 saloon and G81 Touring?
Yes. The ADRO V2 side skirts are confirmed for both the G80 M3 saloon and G81 M3 Touring. The sill geometry is consistent between both body styles.

Do these complement other ADRO G8X components?
Yes. The V2 side skirts are designed to work cohesively with the ADRO V2 rear diffuser, V2 rear spoiler, V2 front bumper and dry carbon V2 bonnet for the G8X platform.

How are the skirts installed?
Installation uses a combination of mounting hardware and 3M adhesive. Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct panel alignment and adhesive bond.

Are both left and right skirts included?
Yes. Supplied as a matched pair with consistent 2x2 twill weave and gloss finish on both panels.
