BMW 2 Series G42, 3 Series G20 & 4 Series G22 Gloss Black M Style Mirror Covers by FORM

Give your BMW an immediate visual upgrade with the FORM Gloss Black M-Style Mirror Covers, designed for a wide range of G-series BMW models from 2019 onwards including the G42 2 Series, G20/G21 3 Series and G22/G23/G26 4 Series. These direct OEM replacement mirror caps install in place of your factory housing, upgrading the exterior aesthetic with a deep gloss black finish (paint code 668) that adds an M-inspired edge to any build. Forge Automotive can supply these mirror covers on their own, or fit them at our Darwen or Leeds site.

You can choose between two mirror style options: the newer M wing mirror style found on the G8X platform, or the original M wing mirror style. Each cap is manufactured from lightweight ABS plastic (0.25kg per piece) and is specifically designed to channel airflow down the side of the car.

Note: These covers are NOT compatible with the M240i G42, M340i G20 (2024+ LCI), M440i G22 (2024+ LCI), or i4 M50 (2023+). Please check the compatibility list below carefully.

Common questions

Why ABS plastic rather than carbon fibre?
ABS is the injection-moulded plastic used for most original bumper trim and grilles. It takes paint well, resists stone chips and small knocks, and costs a fraction of carbon fibre. A gloss black ABS part gives the de-chromed, blacked-out look without the carbon price; the carbon version is there if you want the weave on show.

What is the difference between the two style options?
The new M wing mirror style (from the G8X platform) has a more sculpted angular profile; the original M wing mirror style is the classic design. Both are gloss black paint code 668. Choose whichever best matches your car's theme.

How are they installed?
Direct OEM replacement - release the retaining clips on the factory cap, remove it and press the new gloss black cap into place. Most owners complete the installation in under 10 minutes per mirror.
