Common questions

Why ABS plastic rather than carbon fibre?
ABS is the injection-moulded plastic used for most original bumper trim and grilles. It takes paint well, resists stone chips and small knocks, and costs a fraction of carbon fibre. A gloss black ABS part gives the de-chromed, blacked-out look without the carbon price; the carbon version is there if you want the weave on show.

Is this for the LCI or pre-LCI G20?
This splitter is designed exclusively for the LCI (post-2022 facelift) G20/G21. It is not compatible with the pre-LCI model (2019 - 2021). Check your build date to confirm.

Is this carbon fibre?
No. This splitter is ABS plastic with a gloss black paint code 668 finish - a high-quality alternative to carbon fibre at a lower cost.

What does paint code 668 mean?
Paint code 668 is the specific black shade used on genuine BMW M Performance gloss black accessories. It closely matches other factory gloss black trim elements on your car.

Does it require the M Sport bumper?
Yes. This splitter requires the BMW M Sport or M340i front bumper. It is not compatible with the standard non-M Sport bumper.
