BMW G Series Full Alcantara Custom Steering Wheel by FORM

Take your interior to the next level with the FORM Industries Steering Wheel. Designed and manufactured by FORM Industries. Forge Automotive can supply this steering wheel on its own, or fit it at our Darwen or Leeds site.

This wheel has been made in homage to the classic M colours, combined with a motorsport-inspired Alcantara finish.

The Alcantara finish provides more grip and a nicer feel in the hand, improving the driving experience whilst providing a more pleasing look than the leather wheel it replaces.

This wheel has been designed by FORM Industries and is manufactured by their partners at OHC.

Note: The active cruise control feature may not be retained once the wheel has been installed.

Common questions

What is Alcantara and how do I look after it?
Alcantara is a synthetic microfibre with a suede-like surface, used by BMW on M steering wheels and interiors because it is grippy in the hand and does not get slippery when warm. It needs light care: brush it regularly, clean with a dedicated Alcantara cleaner rather than leather products, and avoid oils from hands building up, which flatten the nap.

What is included?
The Alcantara wheel surround only. Buttons and trim are transferred from the original wheel.

Does it fit the 2024 LCI cars?
No. FORM state it is not compatible with the new LCI steering wheel.

Will Active Cruise Control still work?
FORM say ACC may not be retained once the wheel is fitted.
